Dog owners and animal lovers, get ready for Fido Fest, a day of furry fun on October 4 at the Worthington Village Green. Hosted by the Worthington Organized Off-leash Friends (WOOF), with Rascal Animal Hospital as the title sponsor, this free event takes place from noon to 5 p.m. and features a lineup of activities for dog owners and their pets. Fido Fest is a one-stop shop for dog owners, with vendor booths offering everything from dog supplies, dog food and dog clothing to service providers like veterinarians, pet sitters and doggie daycares and lots of non-profit groups!
We had such success last year that we have decided to again this year collect pet items for the Worthington Resource Pantry. This organization helps many of our neighbors in times of need. The biggest need of the pantry is cat food. Suggested items to donate: wet and dry cat or kitten food, wet or dry dog food, cat litter. We will have a collection spot the day of Fido Fest at the WOOF booth. Thanks for helping your neighbors!
We are thrilled to announce a new contest, fastest peanut butter eater! We will still have the popular bobbing for wieners contest but have added the peanut butter contest for our canine friends who don't love to get their face wet. No sign up required for contests, just show up at the time noted at the contest area.
